1. INTEDED USE
Urease is not present in mammalian celss, the presence of urease in Human stomach is evidence of the presence of helicobacter pylori.After oral administration of Urea (C14) capsules, if the patient had h.p in the stomach.the urease produce by it, can quickly decompose urea into carbon dioxide and ammonia gas. Carbon dioxide is excreted through the blood into lungs.
The discharged 14 CO2 IS collected on the respiratory card, and the card is placed in the helicobacter pylori analyzer to determine whether there is any infection with helicobacter pylori
